MEET OUR TEAM

Sherrie believes that healing is possible when individuals are surrounded by compassionate, meaningful support. She meets clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences and recognizing the value in every story.

Throughout her work, Sherrie has helped individuals move from feelings of hopelessness toward renewed clarity, resilience, and hope. Her therapeutic focus supports clients in finding emotional space to breathe again—allowing them to live more freely and with greater intention.

Sherrie has partnered with individuals navigating a wide range of concerns, including addiction, family disruption, relationship challenges, adult mental health concerns, bereavement, domestic violence, trauma, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), depression, and PTSD. Her work is grounded in a holistic perspective that nurtures the MIND, BODY and SPIRIT supporting sustainable healing for both individuals and families.

With more than 15 years of clinical experience, Sherrie brings depth, compassion, and insight to The Healing Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, and a Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. She is experienced in individual and group therapy, addiction treatment, couples counseling, and women’s empowerment. In addition, she has served as a chaplain and completed her residency training at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.
